Project title:
"Matrica slovenska". Performance and video art project
Idea:
Image-based Slovak art from last 100 years ranging from Martin Benka to Roman Ondak will be approached as a source material for series of visual performances by Slovak artists using the visual software and screened in real time onto large canvas located in the public space
Project Description:
Despite what the title of the site - square of Slovak national uprising - might encourage the audience to think, the aim of the event is not to revolutionize or reevaluate the national art heritage, rather simply use it in new forms.
